Its been a few years since I've written to you. A lot has changed. Dad and I are separated and I live in a little room in a house with landlords. You and Mabel live with Dad still in your forever home. You and Mabel are still the light of my life and bring me so much joy. You just finished your first week of fifth grade and Mabel, second grade. I cant believe you're so grown. Next year you go into middle school and I'm terrified. I know you'll do just fine there, but I remember the tumultuous life that was middle school for me and I just hope you dont go through what I did.
You're really in Roblox and Minecraft and Mabel is still into Platypuses. And pigs. You were on a medication for ADHD but it was making you sick so we took you off of it and you seem to be doing fine without it. We'll see as the year progresses if it ends up being necessary again.
I think I'm going to read through old posts to remember what I wanted this blog to be for you. So I can make these entries more suited to that goal. For now I just wanted to update a little bit.
